This LP is one of the few modern electronic albums that has really caught my attention lately. With every listen I find that it is a very successful piece of work.

Singer Alia Seror-O'Neill and producer Lewie Day, also known as Tornado Wallace, are behind this musical project and eponymous debut album. Both are originally from Australia but now live in Berlin.

The album has a slower, almost dreamy pace. There is a strong influence of the 90's, a time of adolescence for both players. Its style is somewhere between trip hop and pop. And it definitely has pop ambitions for me. If I had to present my ideal of quality modern pop songs, it would definitely be in this style.
