Full Circle - Mastermind (Brainless Dub)

The Full Circle project is the brainchild of two longtime friends and artists, Alexis Le Tan and Joakim. Impulse for creating the project was a serendipitous moment when Alexis, who had been a DJ at Goa Trance parties in the mid-1990s, started experimenting with his old vinyl records. By slowing down the playback speed, he discovered a new dimension and potential of sound at a slower tempo. The hypnotic mood, a touch of nostalgia, and a desire to return to their production roots were so appealing to both, that they initially decided to collaborate on just a few remixes. However, the results and experimentation with sound were so enjoyable that they continued with a series of several released works, for example, on Joakim's label Crowdspacer or Vladimír Ivković label Offen Music (ep Shiver - see photo below).
Now, they believe it is the right time to establish their own label, Full Circle Released, under which they can officially present their work. The track I want to introduce to you is from the current EP, Mastermind. It is not a strictly dance track, but rather a calmer composition with a dub rhythm and a distinctive sound.
The desire to explore new directions and techniques is common to both authors, as Joakim precisely articulated it in an answer during an earlier interview, where he stated:
,,I get really bored when repeating myself, doing something I already know how to do well, so I constantly look for things to try, to keep it fun but also with this idea that exploring is a way of finding yourself. Curiosity is the key to longevity in music and all creative careers.''
