Chez de Milo is an unmistakable figure on the British dance scene. Among other things, he is the founder of the Bristol Club Blanko and a member of the Ransom Note Records label. Just take a look at his packed calendar, and it should be clear that he is not just a seasonal star, but a DJ and producer whose qualities are backed by years of hard work.
In this set, I was particularly impressed by the musical maturity and experience with which it was recorded. It may not seem like a complicated thing, but the simpler and more natural the result sounds, the more art is behind it. Mixing a really good dance set is not as easy as it might seem. Chez shows off his experience and skills here. If there is a moment when you need to slow down a little, you can be sure it will come at the right time.
I definitely recommend following the Les Yeux Orange profile where the set was released.
