I don't have a very good experience when my favorite DJs get together to play with each other. The worst memories I've had are from B2B party sets. I've had so many disappointing experiences that have ruined my night. This is because it is a very specific discipline that is often misinterpreted. Yet, it is a very intimate affair that requires a deep connection between the participants on several levels.

In this case, there is no disappointment, and the joint set by Heap and Ruf Dug of Vienna's Res.radio is well worth our attention. Both are my favorite producers and DJs, and they sound great together. This is a nice listening set with slower rhythms, but I still felt like dancing more than once.

Heap is the founder of the Viennese label Neubau, where more darker and experimental tracks are released. Ruf Dug, on the other hand, hails from Manchester and his output has more positive dance vibes. One would think that these two couldn't possibly be a good match... And that would be a mistake!
