River Yarra is another name in a long line of interesting Australian artists. Like many of his colleagues, he moved to Europe and now lives in Paris. He releases his production, which is also definitely worthy of attention, mostly on the French label Antinote.
However, today we will focus on his DJ skills. I've chosen an older mix, but I still come back to it often and gladly. And most importantly, I never stop enjoying it. It offers a slower tempo and a mostly broken rhythm, which is a very pleasing combination to my ear. Even though the speed doesn't exceed 100 bpm, I find this set energetic and would love to listen to this kind of music in a club venue.
