Josh Dahlberg, a Seattle-based producer, made himself happy this year. On the ten-year anniversary of his first official release, he gave himself a gift in the form of his current EP.

Released on the Central Scientific label from the same city as the artist himself, it documents an artist in transition, moving from the deep heart of Detroit to the furthest reaches of the Pacific Northwest, and those influences are imprinted here.

I was drawn to this track by its atmosphere, with its gentle, carrying melody seeming to sing, despite the fact that not a single vocal is heard in the track. Overall, the track has a very pleasant air of dreaminess. Such a gift must make not only Josh happy, but all listeners as well. Moreover, it can be interesting for the DJs as well, because in the last two minutes it has a background track and can be used as a light connection to other tracks.
